At ANS, our School Clinic exists to uphold the health, safety, and emotional well-being of every student. Through timely care, proactive guidance, and collaborative support, we strive to create an environment where students feel valued, protected, and empowered to thrive both academically and personally.

The American Nicaraguan School (ANS) offers a range of Honor Societies to recognize students who have been part of the ANS community for at least one academic year and have demonstrated outstanding achievement in academics, leadership, service, creativity, and character. These societies celebrate excellence and provide opportunities for students to further engage in their passions while contributing to the school and wider community.
The Hungry Tiger is the official cafeteria of our school community.
Run with passion and purpose by chefs Frank Irschitz, Sofia Manzoni, and Dr. Alexandra Raskosky, the Hungry Tiger is more than just a cafeteria – it’s a commitment to your children’s health and well-being.
Every meal is prepared with care and our daily menus are inspired by the Harvard Eating Plate, ensuring balanced and wholesome meals. We follow strict sanitary protocols and everyone in our team is certified by the ServSafe US National Restaurant Association as a Food Handler and Allergens management.
At ANS, our After School Activities stands as a testament to our dedication to student growth, wellness, and leadership beyond the classroom. Welcoming over 500 students and young athletes from Kinder to 12th grade, our program is designed to offer something for everyone, reflecting our commitment to inclusivity and excellence in line with our mission of academic excellence and ethical global leadership.
Catholic Life is an extracurricular program held at ANS. It serves students from Pathways to 12th grade, with weekly hour long sessions.
Catholic Life is an association of volunteer parents directed by a Board of Directors, approved by the Archdiocese of Managua, and supported by qualified catechists who are in constant training.
