Six ANS students made a splash at the 2026 National Short Course Swimming Championship, delivering an outstanding performance in the pool!
🥇🏆 Ana Cecilia Lagos — 7 Gold Medals and 1 Silver Medal, earning the title of National Overall Champion in the 11–12 age category.
🏅 Norman Navarrete — 2 gold, 4 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals.
🏅 Vanessa Navarrete — 1 Silver and 1 Bronze Medal.
🥇🏆 Sophie Ponçon — 3 Gold Medals and a National Record in the 50-meter Breaststroke!

At the Capstone Pitch Fair, our seniors took an important first step in one of the most meaningful experiences of their final year at ANS: presenting the ideas they will develop into their Capstone Projects throughout the year.
Through their pitches, students shared their interests, identified challenges they want to explore, and began shaping projects that will require creativity, research, problem-solving, and purpose.

We are proud to celebrate our athlete students, Sophie Ponçon, 10th Grader, and Vanessa Navarrete, 9th Grader, members of Swimming Tigers Academy, who have qualified to represent Nicaragua at the 2026 CODICADER Central American Student Sports Games.
We can`t wait to cheer them on September 9–13, 2026 as they dive into the pool at Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Their dedication, discipline, and hard work have earned them this incredible opportunity to compete at the regional level. We are incredibly proud to see our Tigers representing ANS and Nicaragua on the international stage!

ANS proudly welcomed the USA Women’s Volleyball Team to campus, giving our student-athletes the exceptional opportunity to connect with world-class players and experience elite volleyball right here at ANS.
The visit featured a meet & greet, conversations with the players, and a drill down with our student athletes, creating a space where students could experience elite-level volleyball up close.
Moments like these remind our students that passion, dedication, and opportunity can open the way to their Path to Greatness. 💙🐯
We are incredibly proud to celebrate ANS senior Mariapaula Gómez, who will represent Nicaragua at the U23 Pan American Volleyball Cup as part of the National Team for two consecutive years! 🏐
Competing on the international stage is a tremendous achievement and a reflection of Maripaula’s talent, discipline, and dedication to the sport.

During the Senior Banner Unveiling, the Class of 2027 celebrated the beginning of their final year at ANS as they revealed the banner that will represent their class throughout this final chapter, a symbol of their identity, unity, and the legacy they are beginning to leave behind.
But the heart of the moment came through the words written especially for them. Each senior received a surprise letter from their parents, filled with pride, encouragement, memories, and love.
