The American Nicaraguan School (ANS) offers a range of Honor Societies to recognize students who have been part of the ANS community for at least one academic year and have demonstrated outstanding achievement in academics, leadership, service, creativity, and character. These societies celebrate excellence and provide opportunities for students to further engage in their passions while contributing to the school and wider community.
XOLOTLÁN CHAPTER (Grades 7-9)
Recognizes students who demonstrate excellence in Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Citizenship, and Character. NJHS members serve as role models and actively contribute to the school and broader community.
Honors students who embody the four pillars: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. Membership reflects outstanding academic achievement and meaningful community involvement.
Recognizes students who excel in science and demonstrate a passion for exploration and innovation. Members inspire others through inquiry, experimentation, and a deep curiosity about the natural world.
Students with high achievement in mathematics. Members participate in math competitions, tutoring programs, and activities that promote analytical thinking and problem-solving.
Also known as Tri-M, this society recognizes students who excel in music performance, theory, and service. Members perform at school and community events and engage in projects that promote music appreciation.
For students who demonstrate exceptional talent and dedication in the visual arts. Members contribute to the school and community through art exhibitions, and service-based creative projects.
Recognize and celebrate high school students’ academic achievements in the English language arts, foster a love of literature and language, and encourage service to the school and community.
