A Letter to My Teachers

Dear teachers,

Thank you for teaching every lesson. Thank you for your passions when I turned in things late. Thank you for giving me up to 5 warnings. Thank you for explaining 3 times every sentence. But what I am mostly thankful for is for the life lesson you all gave me. You taught me that I can do it.

For all those times I got frustrated and did not understand, you were there to remind me of how much potential I’ve got to do it. I know these are hard times and that giving a class was very hard, but I promise it was great. I learned what I had to learn, I turned in my assignment, and I slept less due to my alarm at 9:00 am.

I don’t know when I’ll see you again, or if I’ll even see you again. I promise you will forever stay in my heart because you all have brought so much to my life. Ms. Gunn you are the best person, teacher, friend anybody could have, you were always there for me. Ms. Lippay you are the most cool teacher in the world, you light up the whole school with your energy and your smile. Mrs. Genet is the only person I know that thinks about math the entire day, but those deep talks at tutoring were the best with you. Mr. Holmer with his jokes is one of a kind, always making people laugh. Mr. Jean Louis even though I didn’t have much time knowing you, you inspired me a lot to be the best I can.

You are all so special and made a big difference in my life. I am so thankful that I got the chance to share a whole year of my life with you all.

Thank you to all,

Michelle Tefel
