Nigerian School Raid

On Monday, Febuary 19 , 2018, the terrorist group Boko Haram kidnapped school girls from the town of Dapchi in  Nigeria. Dapchi is 170 miles from Chibok, where Boko Haram raided a girls’ school in 2014.

Boko Haram arrived at the town of Dapchi randomly shooting at residents as people fled away from the town. The government is searching for the girls and most of them were rescued by negotiations made with members of the group. Still, today there are more than 100 girls missing.

Nigerian president Buhari has promised that they will bring back the girls and give justice. By this, Buhari continues with a government aerial search for the missing girls.
