On September 27th, our ANS community welcomed The Council of International Schools (CIS) of Latin America where 30 different universities from all around the world made a stop at our school to directly talk to students about the university application process.

Aside from our ANS communities, students from Lincoln, Saint Augustine and the Nicaraguan Christian Academy all showed interest in several of the universities that came here.

Students were able to directly talk to admission officers and ask them important questions such as: admission requirements, financial aid, and scholarships.

Senior Sophia Chung stated that “It was a great experience and I got the opportunity to know more about different colleges.”

Teachers and staff members were also there to guide students and encourage them to talk a little bit more in depth with the officers.

As a current senior, I was able to meet and learn more about the different opportunities that exist out there nationwide.

Soon, our ANS community will as well host the SRT college fair on Tuesday Oct. 3rd, from 8:00-9:30 a.m welcoming universities from Spain, Mexico, the United States, Italy, Nicaragua and Canada.
