First Aid and CPR classes start tomorrow, Thursday, April 6th, from 2:10-4:30 in high school rooms 5 & 14.
The abbreviation CPR stands for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. CPR, is an emergency procedure when a person presses up and down on the chest and gives the patient a series of mouth to mouth rescue breaths to help them them breathe. This helps to save lives in a variety of situations.
There will be about four to six classes held. Participants will be trained by the Red Cross and UNICA medical department.
To sign up for classes, students should go to the ANS High School Facebook page or contact Fabio Robelo.
