This past March 17th through March 19th, the International School of Panama held the AASCA Swimming tournament, an international competition of different sports. The races ranged from 50 to 200 meters and included swimming styles such as free stroke, butterfly, and backstroke.
We had many swimmers represent ANS, such as Sebastian Holmann, Sofia Coen, Madison Cerpa, Alexander Ramirez, and team captain, Paula Fariñas, who dived their way to victory in the ISP pool.
The Eye of the Tiger Newspaper can’t even begin to fathom the intense pride the team coach, Andrei Kulyk, must be feeling right now. For the second year in a row, ANS won first place as well as best girls’ team!
The entire ANS community is extremely thankful and proud of the time, effort, and sacrifice the team dedicated to intense training in order to win this tournament. Congratulations to the ANS swimming team and go Tigers!
