Students from the American Nicaraguan School participated and represented our school in the AASCA Track and Field and Cross Country 2015 event held in Guatemala City during November 18-21. This event consisted of relay races and short distance sprints at the Estadio Cementos Progreso in La Pedrera hosted by the Maya school.
The twelve students who had the honor to represent our school and participate in this awesome experience bonded with students from different countries who have the same hobbies as they do.
They learned that winning isn’t everything, but participating and effort is. So even though they didn’t get the results they wanted, the experience taught them that putting forth your best effort is what counts.
The students have their sights set on achieving a better place for next year’s AASCA.
