Julie Falbo

I grew up in the state of Minnesota in the United States and have been an educator for the past 15 years in many different places: in Mississippi and New York in the US, in Ecuador, and here in Nicaragua. I studied International Relations and Political Science at Augsburg University and then received my Master’s degree in Education. I am passionate about history and politics and deeply believe that every person has the ability to make a positive change in the world. I also believe that to be our best selves we need to take care of ourselves physically, mentally and emotionally. This is why Community Values and AP US Government and Politics are the perfect subjects for me to instruct! When I am not in school, you can find me spending time with my family (we especially love the Laguna de Apoyo), running, or reading.
