Food Against Cancer Sept. 8th

food against cancer

The ANS Student Council invites you to join us in raising funds at Food Against Cancer, for the treatment of Eduardo Aragón, a member of our community and former student of Colegio Centro América who was recently diagnosed with leukemia.

Food Against Cancer is a fun eating contest which takes place on Friday, September 8th at 2:45 pm. Entrance is C$60, but we hope you can help to donate more!

Operation Smile and CONANCA will be selling food and drinks, and the event will be held at ANS’ CAA (gym).

The event features the following activities:

– High School Spicy Chicken Wings Contest (2 gladiators per grade)
– Teachers vs. Maintenance Cheeseburger Showdown (2 teams of 3 gladiators)
– Middle School Watermelon Eating Competition (2 gladiators per grade)
– Hot Dog Showdown (CCA vs Lincoln vs ANS vs St. Augustine…2 gladiators per school)

Colegio Centro América, Lincoln, and St. Augustine will choose two representatives who will participate in the Hot Dog Showdown. Subcription fee: C$300 per pair.

As one of the leading schools of Nicaragua, we consider it our utmost responsibility to set an example to other educational institutions in the country when it comes to social moral and obligations. So let’s help to give Eduardo a helping hand!

We hope to see you there!

PS: This is not an ANS only event. Feel free to invite your friends and family.
