A systematic annual program of standardized testing is implemented to assess the student’s ability, achievement, interests, and aptitude. Elementary School students take the MAP and DRA tests twice a year. Grades 6 – 9 are assessed each year with the Stanford Achievement test, grades 10 and 11 sit for the PSAT exam. Most Juniors and Seniors take the SAT exam. The
American Nicaraguan School is a certified testing center for the PRAXIS, SSAT, SCAT,ACT, TOEFL, SAT I & II, GMAT, GRE, and LSAT exams. Other testing services are provided for those students with additional admission requirements.
