Middle School Welcome Letter

Welcome to Middle School at the American Nicaraguan School. Our Middle School program includes grades six through eight and serves close to 230 students. We are dedicated to providing a learning environment that enables each student to grow academically, socially, emotionally and physically. Staff, students and parents work collaboratively to create an environment that emphasizes continuous growth and improvement. We celebrate student diversity and aim to provide students with a well-rounded curriculum that helps them become critical thinkers and global citizens.

Recognizing that the Middle School years are a time of excitement, constant change and development, we strive to provide a nurturing environment that can support our students during this important time in their adolescence. In Middle School, we look forward to academic and personal growth; we help our students face challenges and celebrate accomplishments.

We believe in the power of communication and encourage active parent participation.
Parents and students can contact teachers, staff and administration with questions, comments and concerns at any time by e-mail or through our website, accompany grade levels on field trips, and volunteer at several Middle School events.

Working together we can ensure success in the Middle years.
