Middle School Welcome Letter
Welcome to the Middle School at the American Nicaraguan School. Our Middle School program includes grades six, seven and eight and serves approximately 230 students. We are dedicated to providing a learning environment that enables every student to grow academically, socially, emotionally and physically. Staff, students and parents work collaboratively to create a safe and comfortable community that emphasizes continuous growth. We celebrate student diversity and aim to provide students with a well-rounded curriculum that helps them become critical thinkers and global citizens.
Recognizing that the Middle School years are a time of excitement and constant change, we strive to provide a nurturing atmosphere that both challenges and supports our students during this important time in their adolescence. In Middle School, we look forward to academic and personal growth; we coach our students through facing obstacles, taking risks, and celebrating accomplishments.
We believe in the power of communication and collaboration. Active parent participation is encouraged.
Parents and students can contact teachers, staff members, and the administration with questions, comments and concerns at any time by e-mail, phone or through our website. Please do keep in touch.
