Welcome to Elementary

On behalf of the staff and students of the Elementary School, I am pleased to offer our heartfelt welcome to ANS and to our ANS Elementary School public website. I trust you find the information you need. If your questions are not answered, please contact the Elementary School office at elementary@ans.edu.ni or jjun@ans.edu.ni and I would be pleased to share with you further about ANS.

The elementary school is happy, active and community oriented.  Our student body, comprised of over 400 children, comes from all ends of the globe. At the elementary school, we work together with parents, teachers and children to form a partnership and provide the students with the best possible educational experience. Every day we strive to fulfill our school mission by helping our children become leaders with innovative and ethical minds making meaningful contributions to society. We accomplish this by exposing them to a variety of fun and meaningful activities throughout their school career at ANS. Students enjoy many opportunities to develop their talents and skills-reading, sports, singing, solving problems of all kinds, and working constructively with classmates. Students show a great deal of pleasure and pride in their activities.

The social, emotional, and academic development of our students is important to us. Our teachers plan their academic programs to meet individual student needs. We treat all areas equally and we help students reach their goals through the many and varied school and community activities;  a full elementary counseling program, the Student Council (STUCO) that provides leadership for our student body by organizing service activities on our campus, Fall Festival, Muffins with Moms, Winter Performance, Book Fair, Donuts with Dads, Kermesse and much more.  More than 200 children participate in the wide variety of after-school activities that we offer.

We look forward to a year full of learning, growth, and development for all ANS students.
