11th Grade Summer Assignment

Read the play The Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller

Turn in the following character analysis the first day of school:

1)      On four different pieces of paper, write the name of the four main characters: Biff, Happy, Willy and Linda.

 

2)      For each character record the three most important quotes for this character.  The quotes should reveal that character’s central conflict.

 

 

3)      After each quote, explain who the character is speaking to, what the character wants at the moment he speaks this line, and what this quote reveals about the character’s personality. 

 

YOU MUST HAND WRITE YOUR ASSIGNMENT.  NO TYPING.  YOU MUST NOT PLAIGARIZE FROM SPARK NOTES OR ANY OTHER CITE.  ANY HINT OF CHEATING WILL RESULT IN A GRADE OF ZERO.

Be prepared for a test on the play the first day back to school.
