Our Mission

Operation Smile at American Nicaraguan School is a student-based community service group that helps the doctors that come from all over the world to operate on children's cleft lips and palates. We are a fundraising group which recollects donations throughout the school year from businesses or private individuals for those who can't afford to pay for their reconstructive surgery, which is $750. The group of doctors come to Nicaragua once a year and are assisted by us during operations and with the funds we obtained for them.
