For the 2002-2003 school year, Students for CARE members raised funds to provide Hospital "La Mascota" with twenty new beds for the Pediatric Oncology Ward. We worked with a local organization called CONANCA (Comisión Nicaragüense de Ayuda al Niño con Cáncer) that was remodeling the ward. Thanks to the effort of Students for CARE members during numerous fund-raisers, enough money was made to purchase the twenty beds.

 

For the 2003-2004 school year, Students for CARE members have been raising funds through a Talent Show, Candy Gram Sales, T-Shirt Sales, and other activities to refurbish the Play Room at Hospital "La Mascota." Members are currently working on this project.
