Dear  Parents,

 

Next week your child will be bringing a school library book home.  Please discuss with him/her the careful treatment of books. 

 

On the back of this page are several rules for taking good care of library books.  Let your child explain to you what each picture means.

After you have discussed the rules, please sign your name below and return it to school.

Your child will not be allowed to bring a library book home until this form is returned. 

 

Books that are lost or damaged must be paid for before the student will be allowed to check out another book. 

 


Be sure to ask your child to tell you why the last rule has a         !
