Volleyball Training
Ms. Aura Garcia and Mrs. Claudia Noguera attended a two-week international volleyball workshop sponsored by the International Olympic Committee and the International Federation (FIVB). The training took place at UPOLI on August 19- 30. The learning gained in this workshop will benefit ANS students not only in PE but those in after school activities as well.

Improving Our Facilities
Soccer field # 2 located by the High School Fresco stand is being remodeled for the AASCA Soccer Tournament to be held in February 2008 when approximately 280 athletes, both girls and boys from all American Schools from Central America will compete. The field’s measurements now meet the international standards.

AASCA Athletic Directors’ Conference
Our school hosted this International annual meeting with 18 Athletic Directors. It was held in Montelimar on September 27-30. The meeting was led by an international consultant, Mr. Jon Frere.
