Copa America XVIII
ANS hosted Copa America XVIII, one of the well-attended tournaments in Managua. The tournament started on September 17 and finished on November 15 with a total of 9 ANS soccer teams (162 players), 2 ANS volleyball teams (20 players) and 4 ANS basketball teams (40 players) participating. Other participating schools were: Colegio Aleman, LIA, San Agustin, CCA, ND, Coalnic, Bautista, Latino, Bautista Belen, Sor Maria Romero, San Miguel, Nicarao, Rey Salomon, Don Bosco, Unitec, Liceo and Doris Maria. ANS was recognized for its high level of organization in hosting the tournament. See Copa America Finals Stats below.
