Volleyball August 2007

Welcome parents and students to the wonderful world of ANS volleyball!

Last year quite a few students participated in our volleyball program; the highlight of their season was their bronze medal win in the Copa Notre Dame. This year the Elementary Girls Team will continue learning the fundamentals of the game while also participating in local tournaments.

Our Girls Varsity Team promises to have a great season because, in addition to the scrimmages and local tournaments, they are also going to participate in the Association of American Schools in Central America (AASCA) tournament to be held in Guatemala.

The ANS Volleyball Program will instill a passion and love for the game of volleyball. Their coaches will concentrate on an effective, possession-based style of play. Training sessions will also focus on team formation and possession, conditioning, and a solid technical foundation.
