We will be covering the four core subjects: Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science. Your child will be doing research at school and at home. It is strongly suggested that each child have supervised access to the internet.

To help your child excel in 4^th grade he\she should review addition and multiplication facts. Flash cards, computer games and online games are a fun way to review.

Tips for a successful year

Encourage you child to read at home for at least 20 minutes every day

Help your child be organized and responsible

Young children should get plenty of sleep and eat a healthy breakfast each day

The Language Arts program is being reconstructed. We are concentrating on skills rather than comprehension of the selections. The vocabulary and spelling words will be

home in your child’s notebook and/or practice book.
