ACHIEVEMENTS AS A TEACHER/COACH:
- Developed complete swimming and water polo curriculum for the American Nicaraguan School for grades K4 through 7th
- Trained Mr. Alex Volynets, former Ukrainian National Team member – Olympic Finalist in 50 free with 22.36 (P.B. time achieved in Olympic semifinals – Sydney Olympics in 2000)
- Trained my father Mr. Alex Kulyk – triple European Masters Champion in 55-59 age group – Stockholm Masters European Championships – August 2005
- Trained Ms. Geraldine Arce – Central American & Mexican Champion (Panama City, July 2004)
- Trained swimmers from the Nicaraguan National Team, Las Pirañas Swim Club, Barracudas Swim Club, Nicaraguan Army Swimming Team, who have broken the National absolute, age group and military records on more than 220 occasions and have won 147 International titles.
- Organized and operated the electronic timing system/computing of results at more than 60 swimming meets, from beginners to International level, with more than 300 swimmers taking part on one occasion
- Was Nicaraguan Team’s Head Coach during the 2004 Athens Olympic Games
- Was Nicaraguan Army’s Swimming Selection Coach on 2 occasions – which became Central American Team Military Champion twice – for the first time in November, 2004, in Nicaragua and again, in April of 2006 in Guatemala
- Decorated with Nicaraguan State Military Medal “For Sporting Distinction” in 2006
- Under my supervision and coaching Barracudas SC has won the National Champion Title as a club on 8 occasions
- Established and successfully manage Las Pirañas Swimming School and Team with more than 100 pupils (After School Hours and weekends)
ACHIEVEMENTS AS AN ATHLETE:
- Master of Sports of Ukraine in swimming
- Winner and medalist of numerous regional and International swimming competitions in Europe and Americas 1994 - 2008
- In 1999 was a member of the Ukrainian National Swimming Team
- Was a member of Lviv’s Regional Junior Water Polo team in 1985-86
- Currently hold 3 Nicaraguan Absolute Records in swimming – 50 freestyle and 50 breaststroke – long and short course
